Overview
Picking up on the discontinued Jetstar Bass, the JS II was the two pickup version of Guild's solidbody JS bass series. Just as the Guild semi-hollowbody Starfire bass was similar to Gibson's EB-2, the JS bass was very similar in design to the Gibson EB-0 and EB-2. From 1972 to 1976, Guild produced a rendition of this bass with a distinct carved oak leaf design on the body.
