The legendary Gretsch sound of the 70's & 80's. 24x14" kick18x16" floor tom14x10" tom13x9" tomI'm not the original owner. I bought these from Guitar Center 6ish years ago? They've been my main recording kit ever since in my smoke free recording studio. Die cast rims on each tom. The bass drum hoops are crack free. All bearing edges make excellent contact with the heads.Each shell has more than their fair share of wear and cosmetic blemishes. Lots of scratches, dents and assorted road scars. These drums have seen some things. The Red Wine finish is notably rare for this era. The sound however is immaculate. Punchy, with excellent sustain. Very easy to dial in your preferred sound and tuning. The tone has aged beautifully.The inside of each tom has old-school adjustable muffling hardware. However the adjustment screws will need replacement if you plan on adjusting it regularly. Personally I don't think internal muffling sounds as good as other solutions, but the option is here if you want it. I have audio examples of how they sound mic'd up. With and without processing. I can't share the link here so DM to hear them.I also have a Gretsch snare drum available, however it's new, and the color doesn't match exactly.
