    Good quality for a Chinese bass. Unlike the Hofner violin bass I have, pieces haven't come apart or fallen off. (I'll probably replace the tone pot eventually, as it seems to have no real effect.) Solid, with a straight neck and even frets. Mine came with tape-wound strings, which I recommend for this. I gig with this and it has not let me down yet.
