Overview
The Gretsch Atkins Axe model is a solid body electric guitar similar to the original Super Axe. The "Axe" ditches the "Super Axe" effects circuit, in favor of a more traditional control layout. It was later reissued as the "Axe" and nicknamed the "High Roller" being that Atkins was no longer with the company and his name could not be used.
