The SG Special hearkens back to the original design that made it one of Gibson's most beloved guitars. Its early-sixties style has all the hallmarks of an original SG Special, with a Slim Taper neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard & two P-90 pickups. These pickups really shine thanks to hand-wiring & the use of Orange Drop Capacitors. You get all the tonal versatility you'd expect from a classic set of P-90s, with snarling overdriven tone & smooth cleans. Plus, the Faded Palham Blue finish looks especially great & at-home on this particular SG. If you're after a sixties-style SG Special, then look no further. Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slim taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with white buttons. 1.695" nut width; 24.75" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Compensated wraparound bridge with chrome hardware & 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 8.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual P-90 single coils with black "soapbar" covers & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" reflector knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with accessories.
