Since its debut in 1952, the Gibson Les Paul has been one of the most iconic and defining instruments of rock music. A gold top was standard for many of the initial production years.

As part of Gibson's Custom Shop Historic Collection, the '57 Goldtop Reissue was one of the first attempts to recreate the specs and finish of the 1957 model. It features a Mahogany body and neck (with period correct profiling), carved Maple top with gold finish, Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, Tune-o-matic bridge, raised cream pickguard and dual covered humbuckers.

Years of Production: 1993 - present
