Overview

Gibson launched the Firebird X in 2011 as a cutting edge guitar with a wide range of onboard models, effects, and automatic tuning. This guitar proved something of a failure for Gibson, and sales were disappointing. The initial $4,000 price tag may have been part of the reason.
