Comprised of mahogany back and sides and topped with your standard spruce, the Gibson B-25, and in fact the B series as a whole, was meant to serve an intermediary position for players; from student to mid-level players. During its 15-year run, the production was mildly inconsistent, and the type of bridge and saddle used can have an impact on the guitar's value.

    I have a 1966 B-25. The only comparable guitar I have owned in the past is an LG-0, and this is definitely a step up from that.
