The Focusrite OctoPre MkII Dynamic is an 8-channel preamp with compressors on every channel and 24-bit/96kHz digital outputs to make use of the ADAT optical ports on your interface. Tracking drums without overs is a breeze with the OctoPre Dynamic, letting you control peaks on the way in with VCA compressors based on the venerable Focusrite Red 3. Keep things transparent, or switch in the "More" feature per channel to get a more "effecty" compressed sound.
