Overview
As a part of the Standard Series, the Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS was made in Mexico (MIM), but many would say the difference between these Strats and their American-made kin is just a few hundred dollars. Every HSS in Fender's lineup sports a humbucking pickup in the bridge position along with two single-coils. Although this could be used to denote Strats that have solely humbuckers, any Fender with a humbucking pickup is sometimes known as a "Fat Strat." Get the fat sound of a humbucker with the iconic look of a Strat in the Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS.
