Released for four short years from 1979 to 1983, the Fender Rhodes Mark II Stage 88 was manufactured when CBS had dropped the Fender name from Rhodes models. However, other than the finish, the Mark II is identical to the Mark I in virtually every regard. With 88 weighted keys and hammers made entirely of plastic, the Mark II also boasts controls for bass boosting and volume. If you find a Mark II made before 1980, it will feature wooden keys rather than the plastic ones it was replaced with that year.
