Overview

Just one descendant in a line bearing some of the most famous bass guitars of all time, the Fender Fretless Precision Bass was first created in 1970. Although the original P-Bass was introduced in 1951, a fretless fingerboard wasn't available until '70, and wasn't a standard option until '71. The Fretless Precision Bass comes with all the things you'd expect from a P-Bass, to its iconically-shaped alder body to the single-coil split pickup.
