Overview
As a part of the American Vintage Series, the Fender American Vintage '59 Stratocaster was designed to pay homage to the Strat from its designated year: 1959. Based specifically on '59 specs, the American Vintage '59 Strat has a slimmer D-shaped neck profile, a headstock accurate to the time period, and a vintage-style tremolo, along with three '56 single coil pickups. Two versions of the '59 Strat exist -- one from earlier in the year, and one from later in the year, signifying the obvious and rapid changes in the guitar world taking place as the '50s transitioned into the '60s.
- Available in 3-Tone Sunburst, Sherwood Green Metallic, Faded Sonic Blue, Black, and limited runs of Aztec Gold and Olympic White
- All guitars feature a Slab Rosewood Fretboard, except for the 3-Tone Sunburst, which is also available with a Maple Fretboard
