About this listing
The Fender American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster Rosewood in Oxblood marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series makes for a more versatile guitar than your standard Tele by placing a Stratocaster single-coil between the traditional Tele neck and bridge pickups. Five-way switching opens up both classic Tele sounds and glassier Strat-inspired combinations, while the new top-load/string-through bridge with compensated brass saddles adds improved intonation and setup flexibility. The Deep "C" maple neck uses rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, comfortable feel across long gigs and sessions. A sculpted neck heel improves upper-fret access, while 22 narrow tall frets make both chord work and lead playing feel natural. The V-Mod III Tele pickups in the bridge and neck provide the twang, snap, and articulation associated with the platform, while the V-Mod III Strat middle pickup opens up glassier middle and combination sounds through the five-way switch.A three-saddle top-load/string-through bridge gives players useful flexibility in feel and setup, while ClassicGear compensated brass Bullet saddles improve intonation and preserve the familiar response of a brass-saddle Tele bridge. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment help keep the guitar consistent and easy to maintain. We think the Oxblood Hot Shot is a great fit for players who want traditional Tele fundamentals with enough extra range to cover more ground on stage or in the studio.Specifications:- Body Material: Alder- Body Finish: Polyurethane- Color: Oxblood- Neck Material: Maple- Neck Finish: "Super-Natural" Satin Urethane Finish on Back of Neck with Gloss Urethane Headstock Face- Neck Shape: Deep "C"- Nut Width: 1.685"- Scale Length: 25.5"- Fingerboard Material: Rosewood- Fingerboard Radius: 9.5"- Number of Frets: 22 Narrow Tall- Position Inlays: White Dot- Side Dots: White- Nut: Bone- Neck Plate: 4-Bolt Asymmetrical with Micro-Tilt Adjustment- Tuning Machines: Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered- Bridge: 3-Saddle Top-Load/String-Through Tele with ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet Saddles- Hardware Finish: Nickel/Chrome- Pickguard: 3-Ply Black- Neck Pickup Cover: Chrome- Middle Pickup Cover: Aged White- Bridge Pickup Cover: None- Control Knobs: Knurled Dome- Bridge Pickup: V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele- Middle Pickup: V-Mod III Single-Coil Strat- Neck Pickup: V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele- Pickup Configuration: SSS- Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone- Switching: 5-Position Blade- Made In: USA- Case: Deluxe Molded Hardshell CaseSku: 0111520730
