Like many Music Man products in the '70s, the Music Man Sixty Five amp carried a look very close to amps from Fender. Amps like Sixty Five used a hybrid tube-based power section with a solid-state preamp to deliver a more flexible set of tones. Though fine amps in their own right, Music Man amplifiers are not nearly as sought-after as Fender or Marshall amps from this era.
