The Epiphone Valve Junior head provides 5-watt, Class A tube amplification in a very simple one knob design; you get volume and nothing but volume in terms of controls. It has a single 12AX7 preamp tube and a single EL84 power tube. Being a 5W amp, it breaks up at volumes much friendlier to the human ear than higher wattage tube amps, which makes it great for getting that sweet warm tube overdrive without disturbing the neighbors too much. Three output jacks on the back give you a choice of 4, 8, or 16 ohm speakers.This specimen is clean with no scuffs or rips on the tolex or front and back panels.
