Overview

The S-200 is part of Epiphone's S-Series, which featured the following headstock shapes:

  • Matsumoku-style Explorer (1986)
  • Narrow Jackson style (1986)
  • Thicker Jackson style (1986-1987)
  • Elongated Explorer style (1988)

These guitars came standard with a vintage-style non-locking tremolo, with the option to upgrade to the Epiphone Bennder Vibrola and locking nut.
