The semi-hollow Epiphone ES-339 Pro has only been around a short while, but it pays tribute to one of the most well-known guitars in Gibson's line: the ES-335. Its smaller body size makes it more akin to the Gibson ES-339, but the instrument's roots are place firmly in one of the more well-known of Gibson's ES line. The ES-339 Pro is great for a variety of genres, from rock to jazz to country, and is particularly great for players who want a lighter, more movable guitar.

This guitar has that wonderful hollow body sound of the ES series. Warn and woody. The split coil pick ups add an extra dimension. It’s size is especially nice fit. For what it cost, I’d rate this as an exceptional buy. It does need a new nut to meet my performance needs.
