Overview

The Electro-Harmonix 22500 is a compact-yet-advanced dual stereo looper pedal for your instruments or microphone with impressive functionality. Recording up to 100 loops on a single removable SDHC card (8GB included, up to 12 hours of recording time), the 22500 records and plays back non-compressed audio so as to not degrade your original signal. Dual stereo loops can start and stop and the tap of your foot, and a parallel mode allows playback of two stereo loops at once. Reverse and octave switching let you change things up on the fly, and the "Stop" switch can double as a tap tempo which controls not only one of the preset drum loops, but also allows your loops to be perfectly quantized. An optional external controller allows you to bank through stored loops so you can have your whole set or complex songs right at your feet.

Great pedal, works very well and sounds good with lots of great features. It does have a somewhat steep learning curve before it become second nature, so if you’re looking for a looper you can ‘just figure out’, this is probably not for you.

This is exactly what I wanted. I did lots of research and this looper pedal hasall the bells and whistles. In my opinion it is easily worth the extra money as a step up from the EHX 720. Double inputs and outputs are excellent, allows me to run my guitar into my amp and my keyboard/vocals out to the…

  • Does the job very well for a dual looper with more options than I will ever use in a relatively compact pedal for a stereo dualer. The selling point for me is the input gain knob and that it can stack a while before the loop begins to squelch / clip which is always a problem with loud droning. My search ended here.
