About This Listing
The unmistakeable moon-shaped Kawai Moonsault electric guitar was first introduced in 1982. Production continued until the 1990s. The moon theme ran up the fretboard with phase-of-the-moon position markers. A rare clear plexiglass Moonsault was also available, called The Crystal Moon. Hard to get your hands on any original these days for under $3-4,000, most of those originals had active electronics with phase switches, etc.
The Eastwood Moonsault is a more budget-minded version to appeal to a wider audience, with standard switching but will keep that elusive and very cool moon-shaped body!
