About this listing
This is a listing for THE FRET SHOP near Strasburg Virginia. Search on line fretshopva and call JON.Buy with confidence!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I got this NEW as a B stock 7-8 years ago from my Eastman rep (pre covid). Eastman had gotten the hardener in the finish wrong which caused a lot of crazing in the top. I loved the way it sounded. It is absolutely loaded with overtones so I bought it and put it away. Last year I had the top refinished which turned out very well. There are however some minute buggers in the finish (shown) that are mostly almost impossible to see in broad daylight outdoors but they do show slightly in lower oblique light upon very close inspection. You likely would't notice them if you were not looking for them. Overall, the top isn't perfect but it is very well done and the anomalies are very minimal.Any any rate it hasn't been an issue for me as this guitar speaks so dang well. It is really a great sounding guitar relative to other E10Ds that have gone through the shop over the last 10-12 years. I have considered keeping it except that I don't play much flat top music. The back as you can see is remarkable. Fantastic figure; of the kind you just don't see on standard Eastmans any longer. Ebony appointments and in a really nice Stone Case which can be seen here:https://reverb.com/item/88940605-stone-alligator-dreadnought-hardshell-case. The mounted hygrometer may or may not work.Last 4 photos show the buggers that are mentioned and/or of any note at all.Anyway, this is a really good one and if it doesn't sell, well, I won't be too bothered about it.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Please ask any and all questions.!!!
