Overview

The DOD Stereo Chorus FX65's first series was initially produced in 1985 as an improvement upon DOD's beginner FX60 Stereo Chorus. Its analog chorus, using an MN3007 BBD chip, is controlled using Speed, Delay Time, and Depth knobs to thicken up your tone. Two output jacks give you great, subtle stereo chorus sound.

  • Run this pedal at 12 volts and....

...listen to the magic unlock. This is a fantastic chorus that straddles the line between a CE-2 and a Dimension C (imho, of course). It loves more power and I run mine at 12v. It also loves Strats in position 2 and Tele bridge pups. Wonderful pedal with a nice depth of range. Built like a tank and dang affordable.

  • Great for the money, great because it's great

This is a great pedal. If you want a bit of shimmer and utilitarian chorus, look no further. If you want the sparkle of the JC-120, maybe look at spending twice the money for a Boss (they are the exact circuit, and Boss/Roland are the same company) or an Analog MXR.

Does just the trick to widen the mono signal of my Akai AX-80. Great subtle texture.
