UPDATE / PRICE REDUCTIONWhile preparing the guitar for sale, I discovered that the onboard electronics are not functioning properly. The preamp powers on (as shown in the video), but after testing with an amplifier, the guitar is not producing any output signal.When I originally listed the guitar, I verified that the preamp powered up but did not have an amplifier available to fully test it. I have since purchased a small test amplifier and confirmed that the electronics will need attention.The guitar itself plays and sounds excellent acoustically, and this issue does not affect its performance as an acoustic instrument.To reflect this issue, I have reduced the price by an additional $100 and changed the condition rating to Fair. This condition change is solely due to the non-functioning electronics. Cosmetically and structurally, the guitar remains in very good condition with normal signs of use and excellent playability.I believe in being completely transparent about any issues I find, so I wanted to update the listing accordingly.*** Please check out video*** Excellent Solid Wood Guitar!!! Normal scuffing on finish from being played.Condition & Factory Refurbished History:This guitar is in Very Good operational and cosmetic condition. It has been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free, humidity-controlled environment. The top is flat, the frets show near-zero wear, and the LR Baggs electronics work flawlessly.Please note two specific historical and cosmetic details:Factory Refurbished Status:This instrument features a light "USED" stamp on the back of the headstock and an updated serial tracking number. This is due to a professional, clean bridge repair performed years ago by an authorized Alvarez repair center. The bridge is structurally rock-solid, completely flush with the top, and handles full string tension perfectly.Cosmetic Notes:There is a small finish chip at the base of the neck heel (discreetly covered/housed by the strap button), a tiny speck ding on the lower right bout near the abalone purfling, and a very light surface scuff on the side lower bout. All are purely superficial.Premium Hardshell Case Included:Comes with the gorgeous, tan-and-brown vintage-style hardshell case shown in the photos. The case is structurally sound and secure, though the middle latch requires a slight inward nudge to align and snap shut perfectly.
