1950s Martin D-28 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

The Martin D-28 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitars of the 1950s combine the lore of the mythic pre-war instruments and the forward-thinking of new improvements to the instrument. The first decade to see no herringbone trim, the '50s D-28s incorporated Kluson tuners in the earlier part of the decade with a switch to Grover in the latter.
