Video: Orange Announces Rocker 15 & 32 Amplifiers

One of the biggest (and loudest) names in the amp game, Orange is debuting two new small but mighty combos at this year’s NAMM: the Rocker 15 and Rocker 32.

Designed for those of us constrained to quieter environments, these new Rockers infuse the company’s trademark tone into low-wattage amps with plenty of character. Built on an all-tube design, these new bruisers come packing an EL84 power section and tube-buffered effects loop on the 32 watt model for the pedal enthusiasts among us.

An ideal option for a bedroom or apartment combo that can hold its own on small stages as well, the Rocker 15 incorporates Bedroom (1W) and Headroom (15W) gain stages along with a Half/Full power switch.

In short, you’ve got four total stages here: .5, 1, 7, and 15 watts for comfortable home playing and solo practice.

Along with the versatile wattage options, the Rocker comes with a versatile dual Natural/Dirty channel design that affords plenty of tonal options. In addition to the classic metal tones these amps are famous for, the Natural channel provides warm, organic tone reminiscent of country picking and even jazz.
