Gretsch Fury 6166 Stereo Guitar Combo Amp 2x12" / Valco Tube Amplifier like Supro Airline National

Gretsch Fury 6166 - This is a very rare and extremely desirable amp as it a 4 x 6L6 True Stereo amplifier meaning it uses two output transformers. The tones you can get out of this thing are incredible and I will put it up against any of the best Fender's ever made.

It's an absolute beast as you can imagine since it is powered by the 4 6l6's and massive transformers. It's versatility is unmatched and it is one of the best, if not the best amp ever made by Valco, and probably the most expensive amp they ever sold. (Valco also made amps for Supro, National, Airline and others.)

I was told by a long time studio guitar player out in LA that the Fury was one of Mike Bloomfield's favorite amps.

This amp has been fully serviced and is in excellent working condition. The reverb and tremelo both work and sound great. The tremolo in particular is really spectacular, one of the best I have ever heard.  The speakers are the Original Jensen's. Transformers are all original to the amp. Most if not all of the tone caps are original as well. The grill cloth has been replaced and a 3 prong cord has been added. The Tolex is in great condition and is unlike any I have seen before - it is very detailed with the texturing and the white striping. All the knobs are original and are very cool Gretsch branded knobs.
