Oklahoma City’s premiere pedal pushers at Walrus Audio continue to deliver the goods at Summer NAMM with two exciting new releases that drip with vintage vibe. Down in Music City, Walrus Audio’s Jason Stulce walks us through the features and tones of these fresh faces in the guitar effect market.
The 385 is an overdrive pedal inspired by the sound of a cranked Bell & Howell amp conversion, with a powerful tone stack and an especially touch-sensitive response. The Monument tremolo uses a fully-analog signal path with digital LFO, switchable between standard and harmonic tremolo modes. Check out our video here for further explanations of both, including some mighty-fine pickin’ by Walrus’ own Gideon Rainey to perfectly demonstrate what these pedals are capable of.
