Pigtronix's trio of space-themed pedals may be small, but they're mighty enough to "tear a whole in the universe," as Andy says here.
The pedals offer analog phase, delay, and pulse-wave modulation effects. While each by themselves sound fantastic, when combined they can create time-warped pulsations that hit more like the signal from a distant quasar than any standard guitar effect.
The Constellator Modulated Analog Delay is a fully analog unit, with 600 ms of echo on tap and endless, self-oscillating feedback available. In addition to the controls you'd expect on an analog delay, there's an additional Feel switch that offers other tonal colors.
The Moon Pool Tremvelope Phaser is an analog phase shifter and tremolo unit with Speed knobs for both effects, allowing you to choose a slow phase with a beating trem, a quick phase with a wave-like trem, or any combination in between.
The Space Rip PWM Guitar Synth is perhaps the strangest of the bunch. It offers analog pulse-width modulation via sawtooth or square waves, in multiple octaves. What does this mean in practice? It means that your playing will trigger the pedal's onboard oscillator, and those waves can be used to modulate your original signal, or they can be dropped down, giving you huge bass and subbass synth tones straight from your guitar.
