Video: EarthQuaker Devices Black Ash Endangered Fuzz Demo

The good folks over at EarthQuaker Devices are releasing a brand-new pedal today and if you're into it, you should grab yours quick—because they're only making a limited number. The pedal is called the Black Ash Endangered Fuzz, and represents EQD's take on a legendary Tone Bender circuit.

The Black Ash is a combination fuzz/overdrive hybrid made from premium materials carefully sourced from EQD founder Jamie Stillman's own personal collection.

Paper-in-oil capacitors and half-watt carbon composition resistors result in a circuit with a highly versatile treble response, a sturdy and articulate midrange, and deep, full bass control. Also unique to the Black Ash circuit is its "Top" control, allowing players to adjust key frequencies between 2kHz and 10kHz, helping to drive their tone forward in the mix.

Worldwide production of the Black Ash Endangered Fuzz is limited to only 1,500 units total, so be sure to check out the full demo above and click here to get your own right now on Reverb.
