Squier Releases Contemporary Series for Hard Rock and Metal Players

Squier by Fender has released a new line of Stratocasters and Telecasters named the Contemporary Series, built for metal guitarists and other players that desire quick playability and heavy tones.

The line includes a dual-humbucker Tele, a dual-active-humbucker Strat with a Floyd Rose Tremolo, and many variations of humbucker- and single-coil-equipped instruments. The guitars, which are priced at $349.99 and $399.99 USD, are available in sleek colors like Black Metallic, Dark Metallic Red, and Pearl White, and feature necks with flat, 12" radii to allow super-fast fretwork.
