Russian Circles' Official Reverb Shop Is Open

Russian Circles’ gear is back on Reverb. Six and half years since they first opened their shop, the post-metal trio has added dozens of guitars, pedals, amps, and more. The new additions to the shop include vintage and custom gear essential to their massive sound.

The Official Russian Circles Reverb Shop is live now.

Among the stock is a Gibson 1971 SG Standard with a walnut finish that’s been a favorite of guitarist Mike Sullivan since he purchased it in 2010. “It's one of my most played guitars,” said Sullivan. “Dozens of songs have been written on it. I rarely took it on tour due to it being a vintage guitar, though it was used on a six-week European tour at one point.”

Other highlights in The Official Russian Circles Reverb Shop include:

  • A black Gibson B.B. King Lucille used during the recording of Chelsea Wolfe’s album Abyss. “The Lucille guitar is an incredibly versatile guitar,” said Sullivan. “I’m shocked how well this handles distorted tones at high volume.”
  • A Gibson SG Custom in metallic green that Sullivan used to write the band’s 2019 album Blood Year. He also played it at several US shows over the years.
  • A Fender Twin Reverb ’68 reissue that was used on the US Blood Year tour and can be seen in the band’s Audiotree Far Out session.
  • A custom-made Emperor 1x15 bass cab made in 2007 that “Brian Cook used for his bass and synth up until 2019," Sullivan said. "It was also used to record bass on the album Geneva.”
  • Three Akai Headrush pedals that have been with the band since their inception. All three were integral parts of the band’s live performances from 2004 to 2020.
  • A Ludwig stainless steel reissue kit used from 2017-2022 on every US tour and the full recordings of Blood Year and Gnosis.
