New Gibson Solidbody Model Revealed Ahead of NAMM

A week ahead of the NAMM show in Anaheim, Gibson guitars showcased a new solid body model at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The new model features a double cutaway body shape similar to the Les Paul DC or short-lived Spirit but with two offset upper horns.

As of now, little is known about the guitar apart from what can be observed from a few images that have circulated on social media. The guitar may be considered a newer version of the M-III design, or may be an entirely new model. Like other Gibson solid bodies, the mysterious guitar includes two humbuckers and a stopbar tailpiece, yet appears to only have two control knobs.

More information on this model will certainly be made available at NAMM next week.
