For today's lesson, Jordan isn't teaching a specific drummer's style—rather, she's demonstrating how any drummer (regardless of genre or style) can use a looper to create something unique.
What Jordan is focused on looping and layering today is vocals. Using the Boss RC-505 Loop Station, she demonstrates how she uses the system's built-in effects to give her voice extra sonic texture or turn it into a variety of different instruments. As she mentions in the video, you can use any looper you already have access to build your performance, but Jordan prefers the RC-505 because of its tactile buttons, built-in effects, and how many separate tracks and track-specific controls it allows.
