John Mayer Reveals 4 New Finishes for His Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky Signature

With the official start of the annual NAMM convention in Anaheim just a few days away, gear release news of all kinds has been flooding in, from brand-new product unveilings to update announcements and more. Most recently, John Mayer provided us with some fresh NAMM news, posting four pictures to his Instagram that show his Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky signature model in four brand-new finishes for 2019.

The Silver Sky, which was first unveiled last March, is a vintage-inspired, idealized version of a single-coil '60s guitar, with a 25.5-inch scale length and 7.25-inch fretboard radius. So far, the Silver Sky has been available in Frost, Horizon, Onyz, and Tungsten. This year, Paul Reed Smith is adding Golden Mesa, Dodgem Blue, Orion Green, and Moc Sand.

The new finishes are currently available for preorder, and you can click any of the link above to order your own. To keep up with our coverage of the NAMM show in Anaheim, click the orange banner below for more news and release announcements.
