Darkglass Electronics Collaborates with Jon Stockman

Jon Stockman, bass player for Karnivool, partnered with Darkglass Electronics 18 months ago to bring us the Alpha Omega – a bass preamp packed with a punchy and tight Alpha distortion engine and a brutal and growling Omega distortion engine.

Besides being an great composer, producer and bassist, Jon Stockman (@karnivool_official) is amazing at crafting some of the most devastating bass tones in the world. We got together in our then Helsinki headquarters 18 months ago and after endless tweaking and tens of prototypes we are finally ready to announce our first co-designed creation: Alpha·Omega. For this we designed from the ground up two distinct distortion engines which we called Alpha and Omega. Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is just brutal and raw. Additionally, we added toggle switches to control the amount of bass (Growl) and high mids (Bite) being saturated. More on the Alpha·Omega on our profile link. The Alpha·Omega is now is the beginning and the end. -- #AlphaOmega #AO #NewCreation #JonStockman #Karnivool #Distortion #Overdrive #NAMM #NAMMShow #NAMM2017 #NAMMShow2017 #WinterNAMM #Darkglass #DarkglassElectronics
