Earthquaker Devices Announces Entry into Amp Market with Sound Projector 25

Perhaps the most exciting announcement from this past weekend's NAMM show in Nashville was Earthquaker Devices' unveiling of a new prototype amp head dubbed the Sound Projector 25. This 25 watt, all-tube head runs on a tube complement of your choosing with onboard clean boost and biasing test points easy re-biasing on the fly.

The Sound Projector is designed as a definitive pedal platform with a minimal feature set that allows most of your tone to come from your pedalboard. Given Earthquaker's ever-expanding palette of innovative effects, an amp specifically designed to project pedal-based tones may be the perfect rig-maker for more noise-inclined players. The Sound Projector is still in prototype phase, but Earthquaker is hopeful that more amps will be in production later this year.
