About this listing
The Le Clean has numerous connection options & so I’ll approach this as two stages, how I run the unit Live or on the High Point Studio & then list alternative methods along with their “Alternative Connections” below. So to run the unit up we treat it like it was a guitar amp. It is important to note that you will need either a PA system/Powered Speaker or Recording interface & Studio Monitors to achieve this.Firstly we are going to connect our guitar to the unit’s INPUT (right hand side), then we are going to make any connections of pedals in the Effects Loop, including powering them, taking a cable from the SEND to the effect INPUT then from the OUTPUT of said effect/s back to the RETURN on the Left hand side of the pedal. Then we need to run a Mic Cable (XLR connection) from the XLR DI OUTPUT to the Microphone input on the Mixer/Powered Speaker or Recording Interface. Once those connections are made & the unit itself has been powered up (12v DC) all you need to do is set some moderate Volume & Gain settings on the clean channel & begin turning your Audio System up. There are a lot of controls to fiddle with here so if you don’t have too much experience, go slowly & exercise patience. The Le Clean is capable of a huge range of volume so take it easy to start with & once you are more familiar with it’s operation, the speed at which you set it up & dial it in will increase quickly.
