About this listing
2x12 PT-15 Cabinet, Black, Black grill, CelestionThe PT15 2×12 cabinet is a perfect match for the PT15 head. The cabinet was engineered to sound and feel as close to a 4×12 as possible, combining depth and punch with superb projection. The combination of a 12″ Celestion® Greenback and Vintage 30 speaker marry two of the most iconic guitar speakers in one cabinet. Capable of handling up to 50 watts of power. When Pete and John set out to create a new 2×12 cabinet, the goal was clear: to engineer a cabinet that captures the massive tone and feel of a 4×12 in a smaller, lighter, and easy to manage form factor.4×12 construction methods are at the heart of this cabinet. The amount of air space in this design enhances the bass response and resonance. The angled baffle results in excellent projection that cuts through even the busiest of stages.DIAGONAL SPEAKER PLACEMENTAfter many hours of testing speakers and various combinations, we found the ideal match to be a Celestion® Greenback and Vintage 30.Two iconic guitar speakers come together to create the perfect blend in this form factor. The speakers are loaded diagonally with the Greenback in the upper left and the Vintage 30 in the lower right.SUHR: UNRIVALED IN CRAFTSMANSHIPSuhr doesn’t just build handcrafted, boutique-quality instruments and amplifiers — the company creates exceptional tools that fuel musical dreams and artistic passions. John Suhr began crafting custom guitars in the mid-1970s, and by the dawn of the 1980s, he was building made-to-order Pensa-Suhr instruments for a who’s who of top musicians. In the 1990s, John collaborated with celebrated rig builder Bob Bradshaw to design the now-legendary CAA 3+ and 3+SE preamps and the CAA OD-100 amplifier. In 1997, after a stint as senior master builder for Fender’s Custom Shop, John founded his own company, a decision that enabled him to bring to fruition products of unrivaled quality, detail, and craftsmanship. Today, the Suhr name is synonymous with prestige; a guitar, bass, or amplifier with the Suhr marque garners instant respect. With elite players such as Mateus Asato, Reb Beach, Scott Henderson, James Norbert Ivanyi, Andre Nieri, Pete Thorn, Ian Thornley, Doug Aldrich, and Andy Wood on the company’s roster, you can be certain that your Suhr places you in esteemed company.MAIN FEATURESA 2 x 12 cab engineered to look, feel, and sound like a 4 x 12Exhibits the depth, punch, and projection normally associated with a raging half-stackHouses diagonally mounted Celestion Greenback and Vintage 30 speakersGreenback exhibits an attitude-laden sound with a ferocious mid-forward attack and restrained top endVintage 30 churns out detailed and complex overtones, warm lows, vocal-sounding mids, and detailed highsClosed-back design yields tight, controlled lowsOffers 50W of power handling — a perfect match for the PT15 headSlipcover is included Specifications Country of originUnited StatesEAN811392031370
