Hello there people from the internets! Up for sale is a 1987 Ibanez RD707 Roadbass in Black finish. The RD707 is a Roadbass series solid-body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1988. This one was made in Japan by FujiGen in late 1987 for the 1988 Ibanez lineup (serial number F757313). This was the first model of Ibanez Basses to evolve from the Roadbass series bodies to the iconic RG series, introduced a year earlier, with hard-edged square profile and pointy heads. The RD707 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a P50 and J50 pickups passive pickups, an Accu-cast BII fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, chrome hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. As you can see in the photos and video, the bass guitar is excellent condition for its age, with only a few minor picking scratches here and there, and a few dings but no major dings/heavy scratches in the body and only a scratch in the back of the neck (please check video and photos for a better perspective of the guitar's condition and please ask for more pictures and videos). The neck is dead straight and the truss rod works as it should (turn both ways without any hassle. The electronics are original and everything works properly (no issue whatsoever with the electronics). The frets show almost no wear, have been polished to mirror finish and it has just been setup to my liking with 45-100 D'Addario XTs.It will be professionally packed and shipped by carrier (UPS or DPD) in the Original Ibanez Bass Hardshell case pictured in the photos.
