A 2014 Gibson Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard Figuard Top has arrived. The Historic Collection, crafted by the Gibson Custom Shop as a greproduction series of historic masterpieces,h represents the pinnacle of Gibsonfs lineup, created with meticulous attention to detail. The model wefve received is a recreation of the 1958 Les Paul. With the thick neck grip characteristic of the f58 Les Paul, this guitar delivers a robust, treble-rich rock sound. While 1958 models are often made with a plain top, this one features beautiful flamed maple on the body top. The combination of the Tobacco Burst finish and the top wood?which exudes understated yet striking beauty?makes this a truly captivating instrument. The pickguard has been removed by a previous owner and is missing.
