1992 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Historic Reissue Nashville, USAA superb example of Gibson’s early Historic programme, this 1992 Les Paul ’59 Reissue comes from a highly regarded period of Nashville factory production and is presented in excellent condition for the year, showing only light surface marks and honest signs of use.Finished in a striking Heritage Cherry Sunburst, the guitar features a beautifully figured AAA flame maple top over a solid mahogany body. Fit and finish are immediately impressive, reflecting the renewed attention to vintage accuracy that defined Gibson’s Historic output in the early 1990s.Built to original 1959-inspired specifications of the period, this model features an ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminium stop tailpiece, vintage-correct body carve and thin nitrocellulose lacquer. The slim mahogany neck is notably comfortable for a ’59 profile, with a 43mm nut width, and the frets remain in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining. The setup of this '59 is spot-on, and the guitar plays effortlessly across the board.Electronics are original throughout, with 1992-dated pots and factory-installed PAF-style humbuckers. Tonally, these pickups deliver classic late-’50s character: warm, woody lows, open and vocal midrange, and clear, articulate highs that remain sweet under gain. Dynamic and touch-sensitive, they excel at everything from expressive blues and classic rock to nuanced studio work.The guitar weighs a well-balanced 9.32 lbs.Previously owned and used by Michael Landau, this instrument is sold with a letter of authenticity confirming provenance.Original Gibson-shaped tan hard case with pink shroud included.
