Had been saving this for a project but it doesn't seem like I will end up using this.
When I bought my 1961 Fender Brown Panel 2x10 Super amp, it had this original vintage wheat brown grill. I always wanted the oxblood version Fender Super 2x10, so I carefully removed this original grill cloth, and installed oxblood on my personal Super and have had this sitting since.
You can NOT replicate the aging or color of original 60's wheat cloth.. there are methods to age modern reissue cloth, but nothing looks like the real thing.
There's a halo from where the Fender logo was.. other than that this cloth is in great shape and has the right look you need to restore your Brownface amp, or stick it on a newer Fender Chris Stapleton Princeton and take it to the next level visually.
