Solid State Logic 4040E/G Console with black EQ's Automation and Total Recall in excellent condition and fully recapped.

This is one of the most desirable SSL consoles from the '80s and has recorded many hit records over the years.  

The automation computer is upgraded with 3 1/2" floppy drives.

Original Power supplies and automation computer.

Also, I converted many of the light bulbs to led's.

Patchbay and producer's desk located on the left side of the console.

Fitted with VU meters, which are more accurate than plasma meters and basically maintenance-free.

I've owned this console for 11 years and had all channel strips and center section recapped a couple of years ago.

I replaced many switches over the years with alps, which is more reliable but there are still switches that may need to be cleaned or replaced.

Everything else works and the console is currently set up in my studio for inspections/tests by interested parties.

The console length is 102" (A very nice size that will fit most rooms)

The console was located in SoHo, NYC until last week and it is now stored in Linden, NJ.

Original books, spare parts, and extender cards included.
