TEC stands for Total Expression Control, and you've got that with this box.  Not only do you have multiple banks with 3 programmable patches for each, you've also got, you guessed it, a heavy duty expression pedal for adjusting effects such as wah and volume control.
You've got so many sound options with this unit, you have an entire gig's sounds in one box...and more !
Also comes with a (necessary) Digitech PS0913-B Power supply, a $13.71 value ! (I tried to use Boss and Visual Sound power supplies and their plug tips just do NOT fit this unit.)
In good to very good shape, especially for a unit its age. Comes to the lucky buyer nice and clean.
