Hohner Professional L59 Les Paul Electric Guitar.
I have seen these advertised as Japanese but more likely Korean manufacture , sometime in the late 1980s / early 1990s.
There is a serial number on the electrics cover plate but these don't really give an indication of year of production.
This guitar is used, its missing its scratchplate but looks better for it in my opinion, it has small indents and dings around the edges, a few on the back including one circular imapct mark that has been touched in and the odd small mark on the front. The hardware is tarnished in places but not too bad, the fretboard has a couple of small indents on the 8th and 9th fret below the top e string and there are a few minor marks on the back of the neck.
There is some light scratching in places and buckle rash and some marks around the top edge of the headstock.
There is some fretwear, not too bad and lots of life left in them yet, its mostly in the open chord areas. There is an area of slight discolouration in the finish on the top side edge of the guitar, its under the finish so I guess its been there since the factory ( see pic 18 below).
The guitar is made from a solid Mahogany body with Maple cap, Rosewood fretboard and chrome hardware. The L59 's are widely regarded as the cream of the Hohner crop and excellent Les Paul style guitars.
The strings are new 10s and the fretboard oiled.  The guitar plays nicely with a good action of approz 2mm - 1.5 mm bass to treble at the 12th fret.
No case but will be well packaged and boxed for shipping.
