Vintage '70s Ampeg G-12 Gemini 12 Tube Combo Guitar Amp w/ Footswitch (circa 1970), NEW 1x12 Eminence Legend V128 Speaker, Gently Used, Very Good Condition!
Today, we're very pleased to offer this Vintage '70s Ampeg G-12 Gemini 12 Tube Combo Guitar Amp w/ Footswitch! It has been shows normal cosmetic wear one would expect from a vintage amplifier and is in very good working condition! All tubes appear to be be vintage! When using the footswitch, tremolo works on channel 1 only. The pedal's echo button does not function, so it must be dialed in manually from the amp (works on both channels). Echo works very well, but tends to howl if turned up too high. Sounds great at low to moderate levels! Tremolo also works great and features varying speeds of 4 cycles/second to 8-10 cycles/second. Very fast capability! The amp is in overall very good cosmetic shape with noticeable staining on the grill cloth and normal wear to the tolex (a tear on its underside has been taped to prevent it from worsening).
It's estimated that this amp was manufactured in 1970. The power transformer (pic 8) shows a manufacture date of the 42nd week of '68, while the output transformer (pic 9) shows a manufacture date of the 21st week of '70.
We ask that you observe its pictures closely and invite you to contact us with any questions you may have.
