1988 Music Man Sabre Bass in Blueburst finish. Original aside from the pick guard which I changed to a mirrored one. 3EQ active, dual humbuckers and 5 position switch. Bridge dampeners look to be original. Beautiful Birds Eye maple neck. Neck is straight, well balanced and sound-wise versatile bass. Was my main gigging bass for a couple of years , I have moved back to passive basses and have kept a pre Ernie Ball Sabre for anything requiring active sound texture. Some yellowing in the finish on the back and some scratches and marks on the body in line with a 38 year old instrument. Comes with a generic hardcase from the late 80’s - adequate but not an SKB type. Have included some original listing pictures of the neck date stamp on the neck and body - I haven’t opened it since I’ve had it - from when I purchased it in early 23 from SS Vintage in Chicago.
