Yamaha YAS-23 alto saxophone — widely regarded as one of the best student/intermediate altos ever made, known for excellent intonation and reliable, professional-feeling response. A favorite recommendation among band teachers for players moving beyond entry-level horns.
Condition: Played and confirmed functional — all keys work and it produces sound across the range. That said, it will likely benefit from a pad check/adjustment for optimal seal, as it hasn't had a service in a while. Lacquer shows honest wear and tarnishing consistent with a well-used student instrument, no major dents.
