Slingerland Sound King 5 Piece Drum Set, 1968 - Blue Onyx Pearl

Slingerland, Niles Illinois, USA 5 Piece Drum Set in the Blue Onyx Finish. Based on the Plies, Black and Gold Badges, Serial Numbers. rerings and Chocolate interiors, I place this set around 1968. All drums are in very good condition with original badges, tone controls and hoops. The Bass Drum and Floor tom are wrapped in Precision Drum Blue Onyx. The 12 and 13 toms are the original wrap. The floor tom has Gibraltar Legs. All drums have brand new heads, Remo Ambassador Fyberskin or coated. Remo Ambassador Clear Resonant heads. Remo Powerstroke batter and Evans 56 resonant heads on the bass drum. The Sound King COB Snare has the Coated Batter and Clear Snare Resonant heads. This set is versitile, you can configure it as a 5 Piece, or a 4 Piece as both the Double Set-O-Matic and Single Set-O-Matic holders are included, as well as the bass Drum Mounted Cymbal Holder.
Sizes: 14 x 20 BD, with Set-O-Matic Holder Mount, Telescoping Spurs and Cymbal Holder Mount.16 x 16 Floor Tom, Tone Control and 3 brand new Gibraltar Legs.5 x 14 Chrome Over Brass Sound King Snare with Zoomatic Strainer and tone control. Looks like original wire snappies.8 x 12 mounted tom with Stick Saver Hoops and Tone Control9 x 13 mounted tom with Stick Saver Hoops and Tone control.
Very nice set, not perfect, some dings in chrome, etc. Please look at the pictures provided.
The Blue Onyx Finish is in real nice shape and looks awesome!
