Here for sale we have a Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Left-Handed Electric Guitar in Dark Night finish. Made in the USA in 2022, this instrument features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body and Maple neck with 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with a 2-Point Synchronized tremolo, narrow tall frets and a trio of V-Mod II single coil pickups. The standard Strat controls are upgraded to include a push-push bridge tone control which adds the neck pickup in positions 1, 2 & 3.The Maple neck of this guitar features several refinements over Fender's standard necks, including the Deep 'C' profile, rolled fingerboard edges and 'Super-Natural' satin finish to the rear. This all adds up to a sophisticated playing experience that will suit many styles, feeling articulate, smooth and precise. Players who use the thumb are well accommodated by the rolled edges, and the narrow tall frets assist with fast notes, bending and vibrato. The sculpted neck heel is a nice modern touch which improves access to the upper frets. Amplified, all of the Strat sounds you would expect are present in spades. The neck pickup offers warmth and clarity, and saturates beautifully when you drive the amp. The brightness of the middle and bridge pickups provide articulation and clarity, whilst retaining a bell-like chime. The addition of the push-push bridge tone control allows you to temper the brilliance of the bridge pickup and makes for a unique and slightly more mellow sound, and also offers the option to engage all three pickups in position 2 for a beefier tone. The front face demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light scratching, most notably at the 18th fret of the fingerboard. The fingerboard demonstrates a small indentation at the treble side of the 1st fret. The fingerboard edges demonstrate delamination of the finish between frets 1-5. These markings cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position beneath the strings.Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) is included in the case.Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the tuners, bridge, input jack and neck plate.
